    The papyrus plant (symbol of Upper Egypt) was used to produce the world's first paper. The stem is sliced thin and soaked in water, pressed together and dried, forming a quite durable paper. The designs are taken from royal tombs and temples found throughout Egypt.
    I have several of these prints listed, they are new / old stock from 1994. Most have one side of the packaging unsealed so the purchaser can actually feel the papyrus paper.
